NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are investigating multiple acts of violence in the subway from Sunday evening until early Monday, including the slashing of a woman, stabbing of a boy and shooting of a man.
All three victims are expected to survive, but no arrests have been made following the two attacks in Brooklyn and one in Queens.
The violence started just before 6:15 p.m. Sunday at the East 105th Street L-line station in Canarsie.
A 15-year-old boy was inside the station when a masked robber stabbed him in the left hip and stole his phone, according to police.
The teen was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
About three hours later at 9:05 p.m., a 36-year-old man was on a southbound A train at the Rockaway Park–Beach 116th Street station when a robber demanded his wallet.
The man refused to hand over his wallet, so the thief shot him in the thigh, police said.
The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Then shortly before 4 a.m. Monday in Bedford-Stuyvesant, a 27-year-old woman was slashed as she rode a southbound A train near the Franklin Avenue station.
The woman was in some sort of dispute with four teen girls when one of them struck her in the head with a sharp object, police said.
The victim suffered multiple cuts to her head. She was hospitalized in stable condition.
The NYPD hasn't yet released descriptions or images of the suspects.
