Woman lashes out, stabs man with scissors aboard F train near Roosevelt Island: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was stabbed with a pair of scissors while on an F train early Saturday morning, police said.

According to cops, around 5:45 a.m., a 51-year-old woman approached a 32-year-old man aboard the train headed toward the Roosevelt Island station.

Police said the woman attacked him with a pair of scissors unprovoked, stabbing him in the chest and forearm.

The woman said, “You’re a demon and your sons are going to burn to death!” before attacking the man, according to the Daily News.

The woman was taken into custody shortly after, and the scissors were recovered by police. Her name wasn’t provided, and according to the Daily News, she did not carry ID and is homeless.

The woman was charged with multiple counts of assault, menacing and disorderly conduct.

The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
