
FORT LEE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a Port Authority police car close to the entrance of the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey early Monday, officials said

The crash happened around around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Lemoine Avenue and Bruce Reynolds Boulevard in Fort Lee, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
The police vehicle was crossing onto Lemoine Avenue when it crashed with the motorcyclist, authorities said.
Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The officer was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the fatal crash.
