5 people shot near Philadelphia's Temple University

PHILADELPHIA (1010 WINS) -- Five people were shot on the 1500 block of North Bouvier Street near Temple University campus in Philadelphia on Wednesday, according to police.

A Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson told 1010 WINS an arrest in connection with the shooting and recovered a weapon.

All five victims were transported to Temple University Hospital, and three are in critical condition, according to authorities.

Officials said the following about the condition of the victims:

-A 28-year-old man was shot 14 times and is in extremely critical condition.

-A 20-year-old woman was shot seven times and is in extremely critical condition.

-A 59-year-old man was shot once in the chest and is in critical condition.

-A 19-year-old woman was shot in the right arm and is in stable condition.

-A 21-year-old woman was shot in the left knee in stable condition.
