The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office on Monday identified the victim as Rayanne Reven. They described Edward Reven as the suspect.

They were both found dead in the backyard of a home in Mullica Township early Monday, according to prosecutors.

While authorities didn’t say the relationship between the two, a woman who identified Rayanne Reven as her aunt on a GoFundMe page said the couple was husband and wife. She said her aunt "was killed by her husband right in front of her young son." In a Facebook post, she said he was an "ex-husband."

Rayanne Reven described her relationship as "complicated" on Facebook.

A cause of death for either person was not immediately disclosed by authorities.

Prosecutors and the Mullica Township Police Department are still investigating the incident.
