
SAYVILLE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck by three vehicles shortly after midnight on Sunday, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The unidentified man was hit around 12:25 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Sunrise Highway Service Road near Lincoln Avenue in Sayville, authorities said.
He was first hit by Joseph Kiernan, an 18-year-old driving a 2010 Toyota Camry.
Shortly after he was struck by Kathryn Jackson, 55, driving a 2018 Toyota RAV 4 and Herbert Bornschein, 57, driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Emergency responders rushed him to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead.
None of the drivers were injured.
The Suffolk County Police Department is investigating the incident, and the three vehicles have been impounded for safety checks.
No charges were immediately filed.
