The victims, 21-year-old Jillian Wiener and 19-year-old Lindsay Wiener, had traveled from Potomac, Maryland for a vacation with their older brother Zachary, 23, and their parents, Lewis and Alisa Wiener, 60 and 52 respectively.

When Lewis woke up to the sound of breaking glass and discovered the fire just after 3:30 a.m., he woke up his family and left the house with his wife, officials said.

Once outside, he reportedly realized his children had not made it out and attempted to get back in, but he was kept away by the flames.

Zachary was able to escape from a second-story window, but the two daughters were stuck in the house, according to police.

Firefighters from North Sea, Southampton, East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor found the house fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

They found Jillian and Lindsay inside the home and carried them to an ambulance that rushed the women to SUNY Southampton Hospital, where they both succumbed to their injuries.

The other three were brought to the same hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Southampton Fire Marshal, Suffolk County Arson Squad and local police will investigate the cause of the fire.
