Meteorologists are rarely at a loss for words, but this is one of those rare times.

We're tracking massive smoke plumes from western fires, a hurricane heading toward Canada, and a tropical storm with a name lifted directly from the Greek alphabet (because there have been so many tropical systems this year NOAA ran out of regular names).

2020 has been a disruptive year, and the weather is no exception.
