
Two people were arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder Tuesday night in connection to a man who was hit and killed by a car earlier in the day.
Saint Paul Police were called to the intersection of Tenth Street East and Broadway Street at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after a caller reported seeing a body lying in the street. Officers found a man in his 20s, who was unresponsive and had severe head trauma. Medics later pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, homicide investigators located to 31-year-old suspects and determined they intentionally hit struck the victim with their vehicle. Both are being held at the Ramsey County Jail.
Police have not revealed the victim's identity and haven't determined an exact cause of death.
It was St. Paul's 31st homicide of the year.
