Light, freezing rain overnight and early Wednesday is leading to a tough commute for many starting their day in the Twin Cities.
Metro Transit announced early Wednesday that it was suspending bus service until conditions improved. Light rail and Northstar services were not impacted.
The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a winter weather advisory for ice until 9 a.am.
Metro Transit says bus service will resume when it's safe to do so.
