On Monday, the Jonas Brothers announced that to attend their upcoming tour, fans will need to provide a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination.
"The #RememberThisTour will now be requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of your event OR proof of vaccination to attend all shows on the tour beginning with our August 27, 2021 show" the band of brothers said in a Tweet.
Some venues that the band is expected to play at, like Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel in Shakopee, Minnesota, took to Twitter, responding to those asking them about the new requirement.
"We are aware of the social media statement from Jonas Brothers requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or vaccine to attend all shows on their tour after 8/27," the casino said in a tweet.
The band shared that they feel the move to have vaccination requirements is what's best for their fans.
"We believe this is the best thing we can do for our fans, our hard working crew, and the communities we're visiting. More details will be sent to ticket holders via email or you can check out each venues' website for more information."
In the last Tweet regarding the situation, the band acknowledged how long they have waited to perform with the pandemic stalling their tour last year.
"Thank you all for understanding. We want everyone to be protected and be able to enjoy these memories we've waited so long to make again. We love you! Stay safe and get vaccinated if you can!! See you soon," the Tweet read.
The Jo Bros turned off replies to the Tweet, not allowing anyone to respond to it. However, this didn't stop some fans from sharing their opinions for and against the requirement on social media.
