The Mall of America will be the next location for a community vaccination site.
The Minnesota Department of Health announced that the Bloomington mall will open this week to mass vaccinations, like other sites in Duluth, Rochester, and at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
MDH, meanwhile, is launching a new campaign to encouraging families with kids to get a COVID test every two weeks until the end of the school year.
The request comes as more and more students are returning to the classroom in the coming weeks. State officials say regular testing is another tool to protect the progress Minnesota has been seeing.
The health department is asking families to utilize the state's mail-in saliva testing program.
