Job cuts are happening at Minneapolis-based Allina Health.

In a statement released Monday, the company announced that 350 jobs are being eliminated. Most are not care providers but rather those in leadership and management positions.

Citing industrywide financial pressures as the reason for the cuts, Allina says they will offer severance pay, health benefits and other resources to those effected.

"Allina Health has tremendous gratitude for all of our team members, including those leaving our organization," Allina said in the statement. "Employees who are part of this labor reduction will be offered severance, health benefits and outplacement resources.

At the end of last year, Allina had more than 28,500 full-time and part-time employees, operating in 10 hospitals.

Health systems across the country have struggled financially post-pandemic as many of the more lucrative, elective procedures were put on hold.
