
A woman in her 40's was killed early Saturday morning when she was hit by a moving vehicle near the intersection of Bloomington Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis.
The MPD says it appears the woman was struck about 1:22 a.m. by a dark-colored sedan that continued moving south on Bloomington Avenue.
There are no arrests.
This is the 16th reported vehicle-related death in Minneapolis this year, compared to 12 this time a year ago.
