Getting your favorite Starbucks drink at Target is getting a little more convenient nationwide.
Target announced Wednesday the expansion of its popular (and free) drive up program to include Starbucks orders at all 1,700-plus stores with Starbucks Cafés and drive up service.
"Our guests have long told us Drive Up is a game-changer, adding convenience to their daily life, especially when they're short on time," said Mark Schindele, Target's chief stores officer. "We've continued listening to our guests, who've told us overwhelmingly that Drive Up with Starbucks would bring even more ease and joy to every Target run. This one-of-a-kind service — available only at Target — is the latest example of how we're innovating every day to meet the needs of our guests."
According to Target, shoppers that place a drive up order through the Target app will be asked if they want to add food or beverage from the Starbucks menu. They can then select whatever items they want and pay for their order.
Target began testing the program last fall and found it to be extremely popular.
The nationwide rollout is expected to available in October.
