
A teenage boy is dead of gunshot wounds, his body found in the driver's seat of a reported stolen car that had crashed Friday night into a snowbank in north Minneapolis.
According to the report from the MPD, there were two other juveniles in the vehicle that was found on the 4000 block of Dupont Avenue North.
Neither was hurt and both are in custody.
There were no weapons found at the scene.
Life-saving efforts at the scene by emergency crews could not revive the teenager who was shot.
The car was a Kia that had been reported stolen in north Minneapolis earlier Friday.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday, minutes after reports of about 14 shots fired near where the car was found.
There are no arrests.
