Target Center's busy stretch in downtown Minneapolis will likely continue well into April as the Minnesota Timberwolves eye a potential playoff run and fans already have a chance to get in on the action.

Tickets to a potential NBA home play-in game for the Wolves go on sale Wednesday. The potential play-in game would be either Tuesday, April 12 or Wednesday, April 13.

Currently, the Wolves sit seventh in the Western Conference with six regular season games left.

"Every one of these last six games is going to matter and it will likely come down to one of the last two or three games, if not that last game of the season," said Timberwolves CEO, Ethan Casson during an appearance Wednesday on the WCCO Radio Morning News with Vineeta Sawkar.

For Minnesota, they're tied as of Wednesday for the second-most wins since the All-Star break with 12.

"There's something electric happening in [Target Center] with our fans and players with the relationship between the two," added Casson. "If in fact we're headed to a play-in environment, we're going to need Target Center to be rocking."

Minnesota sits 43-33 headed into Wednesday night's road game in Toronto and have lost three of their last four, including Sunday's 134-112 loss at Boston.
