News Talk 830 WCCO’s Vineeta Sawkar has been voted Minnesota’s best radio personality for 2022, according to Minnesota’s Best.
Sawkar was the top vote-getter from Minnesotans, earning the top spot with MPR’s Cathy Wurzer coming in second and KFAN’s Chris Hawkey coming in third.

Sawkar joined News Talk 830 WCCO in December 2021 after long-time host Dave Lee left the station’s morning show.
Before making the jump to radio, Sawkar was an anchor for KSTP-TV for 18 years before she left in 2013.
But now, in just her first year in the business, Sawkar is making it look easy bringing home the top honors from Minnesotans.
