Boomer says Giants will go just 2-11 rest of season, Jets will finish 7-6

The Giants haven’t made it look pretty and have their share of injuries, but enter Week 5 with a 3-1 record and a tough task at hand against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Sunday in London.

Boomer believes Sunday will be a loss for Big Blue, and the first of many. In fact, after running through the rest of their schedule with Gio during Tuesday’s show, Boomer predicted that the Giants would finish an awful 2-11 the rest of the way, which would turn a 3-1 start into a 5-12 finish.

“They just cannot score,” Boomer said. “They beat bad teams.

“Do you realize how devoid of talent this team is? I understand they’ve won these games and it’s great, I think it’s good for Brian Daboll to get it going this way, now Daniel Jones is hurt again.”

As for the Jets, Boomer is feeling much more optimistic after Sunday’s comeback win with Zach Wilson back under center. In fact, he has Gang Green finishing 7-6 the rest of the way, which would likely have the Jets in the hunt for a playoff spot in the final weeks of the regular season.

Why so much more optimism with the Jets?

“At least the jets have shown some semblance of offense,” Boomer said. “They actually looked like a real team in two quarters of football.
One against the Browns and one against the Steelers…it’s like professional football is returning back to New York!”
