Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker is now facing additional legal woes on top of criminal charges stemming from an alleged armed robbery in Florida.

The second-year defensive back, who is currently on the NFL's exempt list while facing four counts of armed robbery with a firearm, was hit with a civil lawsuit on Monday by three people who say Baker stole their cash and other valuables at gunpoint at a May party.

The lawsuit seeks $100,000 in damages, the Associated Press reported.

Arrest warrants from the May 13 incident, citing witnesses, said a fight broke out at a cookout attended by Baker and Seattle Seahawks defensive back Dunbar in Miramar, Florida, when the NFL players allegedly pulled out handguns and robbed attendees of their valuables.

Baker and Dunbar were arrested, but charges against Dunbar were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Baker's lawyer in the criminal case has maintained his client's innocence, and predicted the charges would be dropped. Baker did not have legal representation listed in court filings for the civil suit, according to the Associated Press.

The Giants selected Baker in the first round of the 2019 draft, 30th overall. The Miami native played his college ball for Georgia, and played in all 16 games for Big Blue last season, including 15 starts.
