Kadarius Toney has battled some early injuries in his NFL career, including a hamstring issue most recently, but the Giants expect the wide receiver to be ready to go for Week 1.
“I’m excited to see him get on the field in a game, in a meaningful opportunity, and know the playbook and make plays,” general manager Joe Schoen told reporters on Thursday, via NJ.com. “We’re planning on him being ready on September 11 when we go play Tennessee.”

The former first-round pick has shown promise when healthy, but injuries interrupted his offseason after other injuries limited him to 10 games in his rookie season.
With Kenny Golladay again underperforming this summer, the Big Blue offense will badly need Toney to be healthy and producing in his sophomore season.
