Kenny Golladay wasn’t able to do much this preseason, but he was active for the Giants in Week 1, and he’s on the board with his first catch in Big Blue.
On the first play from scrimmage after Denver kicked a field goal to go up 3-0, Daniel Jones dropped back and hit Golladay with this strike for 17 yards:
It was Golladay’s only catch, and only target, of the half, but it started a touchdown drive, one that gave the Giants a 7-3 lead.
Golladay played just five games with Detroit last year, recording 20 catches for 338 yards and two touchdowns, but is just a year removed from a 65-1190-11 line with the Lions in 2019. Back in March, the Giants signed him to a four-year, $72 million deal with $40 million guaranteed.
