The first quarter of Sunday’s game was a slog for the Jets’ offense, and they were denied a pick-six on a replay review…but the defense at least also prevented some points in a way they hadn’t in four seasons.

That came from defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, who got his big mitts up on a 47-yard Green Bay field goal attempt to bat it down:

It kept the game at 0-0 heading into the second, and was the Jets’ first field goal block since 2018, when Henry Anderson blocked an attempt by Buffalo’s Stephen Hauschka.
