Sunday was a rough one for the Jets, but there were a couple bright spots; one was quarterback Mike White's NFL debut and first TD pass, and another saw 2021 second-round pick Elijah Moore record the first touchdown of his young career by running in a 19-yard score on an end around in the third quarter of the Gang Green’s loss to New England:

Gang Green and the fans have high hopes for Moore, who was the 34th overall pick after earning All-SEC and All-American honors in his final season at Ole Miss. However, his NFL career has started slowly, as he was inactive for the Jets’ Week 4 win against Tennessee, and in the other four games entering Sunday, he had eight catches on 20 targets for 66 yards.
However, his two best games have come against the Pats, as he had season-highs with four catches, eight targets, and 47 yards in Week 2, and in addition to his first touchdown in Week 7 (on his first career rush), he also caught one ball for 13 yards.
