The Final Schmooze wrapped up 34 years, four months, and two weeks of Steve Somers' run on WFAN, and while he'll have one final hour from 1-2 p.m. on Monday to officially say goodbye, Friday's show was the last full ride for "Captain Midnight" with Schmooze here and you there under the covers.
Over the years, Steve became famous for his monologues - and while Friday night's wasn't quite one like most of the rest, it was just as special; it started with Schmooze thanking you, the listeners, and ended with one listener's Somers-centric take on a Holiday classic.
