James Harden flashed his whole arsenal in Friday’s impressive 76ers debut, including a 5-for-7 showing from beyond the arc, highlighted by a 4-point play on a stepback triple.

His final triples tally was particularly notable for some Sixers fans, who noted that Harden already has as many career 3-pointers in a 76ers uniform as Ben Simmons, now with the Nets after the blockbuster trade earlier this month.

That’s right, Harden’s five 3-pointers with Philadelphia, which he collected in 35 minutes of action, already equal Simmons’ mark after four years with the Sixers, as he shot 5-for-34 from downtown in 275 games.

Of course, Simmons isn’t known for his shooting ability, averaging 0.1 3-point attempts in his career to date, but it was still another opportunity for 76ers fans to celebrate the trade, while Simmons seems happy to have a change of scenery with the Nets.
