The Nets are receiving optimistic updates from James Harden, who has been upgraded from out to questionable in the past 20 hours, but the news for Kyrie Irving is not as hopeful.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Brooklyn is “preparing” to be without its star point guard for the rest of the series against the Bucks after Irving left game four with an ankle sprain.
Irving was already listed as out for game five on Tuesday night.
Without Harden and Irving, the Nets dropped game four to even the series at two games apiece. Harden, barring any pregame setbacks, will try and play through his hamstring tightness in a crucial game five in Brooklyn, but it looks like the Nets will have to survive this round without one of their best shooters and playmakers.
Irving is averaging 22.7 points per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the floor so far this postseason.
