Oswald Peraza already has a day to remember with the Yankees on Tuesday.
The rookie infielder smoked his first career home run in the top of the second inning against the Rangers, drilling a hanging slider from Jon Gray into the right field seats to tie the game at two.

It was a no-doubt line drive home run for Peraza, who was able to watch it fly before getting congratulations in the Yankee dugout.
Peraza hasn’t seen consistent playing time this season since being called up, but he has made the most of his opportunities. He has a .935 OPS on the season, and as a starter this season, is batting .368 with a .526 slugging percentage in 12 games.
