OPINION: Howard Picks the Bills: Week 3

How is Howard Simon feeling about the Bills after Sunday's dominating win over the Jets?

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After a nail-biting win in Week 1, it was a completely different story for the Buffalo Bills, as they cruised past the New York Jets in dominating fashion at MetLife Stadium this past Sunday.

After needing to put on the super hero cape in the opening week of the season, quarterback Josh Allen was able to rely on the defense, as well as running back James Cook, who dominated the Jets in the Meadowlands.

With one division win already in tow, the Bills will look to demolish another divisional opponent on a short week, this time being the Miami Dolphins when they come to Orchard Park on Thursday night.

Miami has not looked up-to-snuff whatsoever through the opening two weeks, starting 0-2 and showing some series cracks in the armor on both sides of the football. Meanwhile, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hasn't started his season well either with three interceptions, while also being sacked eight times.

The start to the season for the Bills has one Howard Simon as high on the team as he has been this season.

Howard feels strongly that not only can the Bills best the Dolphins in their upcoming prime-time matchup this Thursday, but also continue their run of dominance with wins through the first nine games of the season.

Buffalo's first loss of the year, according to Howard, comes in a Week 11 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Highmark Stadium. If that is the case, it would be the first loss suffered by the Bills at home since the 2023 AFC Divisional Round against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After another loss on the schedule the following week against the Houston Texans on "Thursday Night Football", Howard only sees one more loss on the Bills schedule, coming in Week 17 of the season against the defending Super Bowl champions in Orchard Park.

When all the dust settles, Howard picks the Bills to finish the 2025 season with a franchise-best 14-3 record, and likely also earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
