Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffao Bills quarterback Josh Allen is "still sore," but was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. He is still expected to play this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Allen left Sunday's 27-21 win over the New England Patriots with just 1:17 remaining on the clock after taking a hit on his left side following a four-yard run that gained a first down and sealed the victory.
After the game, Allen told reporters he suffered a stinger and had never felt one before, but that he wasn't concerned.
The Bills held a walk-through practice on Wednesday. Following the session, when asked about his sore neck, Allen responded, "It's good. Good to go."
The team travels to Miami this weekend to face the Dolphins on "Sunday Night Football". The winner of this game will be the 2023 AFC East champion and earn the No. 2 seed in the AFC Playoffs, guaranteeing a home Wild Card game, and another, should they advance to the AFC Divisional Round.
If the Bills lose, they'll need either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Jacksonville Jaguars to lose in order to make the playoffs. A loss by the Bills and wins by both clubs would keep Buffalo out of the postseason.
Allen was listed on the injury report as dealing with both his neck and right finger.
