Orchard Park N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Following a career-best performance this past Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman has been named the NFL's Rookie of the Week.
In the seventh game of his young NFL career, Coleman caught four passes for 125 yards, averaging a whopping 31.3 yards per-reception to help the Bills earn a 34-10 win at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
Coleman's total yards in Sunday's victory is the most by a Bills rookie wide receiver since Sammy Watkins' 127 yards back in 2014 (Week 14).
The 21-year-old is also one of three rookie wide receivers this season to eclipse, at least, 125 receiving yards in a game, joining Marvin Harrison Jr. of the Arizona Cardinals and Malik Nabers of the New York Giants.
Coleman was the Bills' first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft in the second round (33rd overall) out of Florida State University. He leads the Bills in receiving yards so far this season with 326, and is tied for the most receiving touchdowns on the team with two.
