Buffalo N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - As the Buffalo Sabres continue their 2025-2026 campaign, the team is going through a rough patch going
1-2-2 in their last five games and have six players on injured reserve.

The Sabres are looking to turn their luck around as they continue their four game road trip. They look to get back in the win column versus the Utah Mammoth on Wednesday Night.

Injuries have continued to be a major concern with Jason Zucker and Zach Benson continuing to be out of the lineup and Jiri Kulich out indefinitely with a blood clot issue and Rasmus Dahlin with his leave of absence.

With all the injuries Lindy Ruff and the Sabres have had to shuffle the lines. Ruff is optimistic stating "I like what we did with the lines. I felt like we were generating a lot more opportunities in the 3rd period (vs Carolina)...I'm excited to see if these line can stay together and help generate some offense" on Tuesday during his weekly appearance on the "Jeremy and Joe Show" on WGR.

"We're counting on them and I thick the guys we have called up have played well and if you want to look at Rosen and Ostlund they both have scored for us. We need secondary scoring to come from a lot of different places and these are two talented guys". Rosen was recalled on October 31st and Ostlund has been up and down throughout the season from Rochester.

The Sabres have had to deal with injuries throughout the whole season so far. This has caused the lineup to be changed a lot and it does not look like the shake up of the line will stop anytime soon.

"That's the part that you have to deal with. We don't want to use that as an excuse, it's the next man's opportunity. We have shuffled a lot of things around and we will continue to shuffle. There is nobody coming back for the next couple of games. We are looking for some lines that are generating some offense and some special teams that can help us win hockey games". Ruff said with Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase.
