On the heels of Audacy's new radio broadcast rights deal with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, Sabres forward Kyle Okposo joined "Schopp and the Bulldog" ahead of the upcoming 2021-22 season.
Okposo spoke on a number of topics, including his thoughts on heading into the first full season under Don Granato, Jack Eichel, and what it was like playing at KeyBank Center last season.
Here is some of what he had to say:

Okposo on playing on a young team this season:
"Hopefully they don't try to drop me off at the nursing home. I'm looking forward to making a positive impact on these younger guys. I've never tried to be anybody that I'm not. I'm a pretty honest. I'm going to be honest with these guys, show them kind of what it takes."
Okposo on Jack Eichel:
"Been skating with him a little bit, so he's doing alright. You know this has obviously been a bit of a tumultuous process for everybody. Everybody wants some closure and some answers.
"I'm looking forward to him getting some clarity on the situation moving forward."
