Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - "Turkeys for Tickets" returns after a one-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Buffalo Sabres, Wegmans and Audacy are teaming up this Thursday, Nov. 18 for a community-wide turkey drive to benefit FeedMore WNY and the City Mission.

"The big day is this Thursday," said Sabres community relations director Rich Jureller. "There are three convenient locations for fans to donate a 20-pound turkey, or more. In exchange, they will receive a voucher for a pair of Sabres tickets."
The drive will run from 7 a.m. EST to 9 a.m. EST.
The drop off locations for the turkey drive are:
- KeyBank Center Surface Lot (Enter lot from Baltimore Street, via Perry St)
- Wegmans in Amherst (675 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226)
- Wegmans in West Seneca (370 Orchard Park Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224)
Vouchers will have a one-time use code. Fans will be directed to a web site where they can pick the game from a choice of 10 dates.
The turkeys will be split between FeedMore WNY and City Mission.
"They are both wonderful and vital organizations, providing food relief, especially at this time of year," said Jureller. "We're hoping to collect a few thousand turkeys for our neighbors in need."
