Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce announced new charges yesterday against two suspects already central to the 2024 "House of Horrors" investigation in Wilkes-Barre. Sarai Doyle and Desiree Linnette are now facing homicide and torture charges in connection with the death of 69-year-old Debra Fox. Investigators discovered that Fox, the former owner of the Carlisle Street home where the first victim was found, was last seen being dropped off at an inn she shared with the two suspects.

The body of Debra Fox was discovered in a wooded area near the North Cross Valley Expressway last year, approximately one month after authorities unearthed the remains of Nicole Cuevas-Ingram from the basement of the Carlisle Street residence. Prosecutors allege that Fox was subjected to similar patterns of abuse as Cuevas-Ingram before her death. District Attorney Sanguedolce confirmed that due to the nature of the crimes involving both victims, his office is officially considering pursuing the death penalty for both Doyle and Linnette.
