Authorities in Luzerne Borough are searching for an older white male who reportedly assaulted a young girl at a local playground on Tuesday evening. According to investigators, the incident occurred at Charles Street Park between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. when the man allegedly grabbed the girl by her hair and attempted to place a rag in her mouth. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on an electric bicycle.
The man is described as having a beard and a distinctive snake tattoo on his neck. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt. Police are urging residents and business owners near the park to review any surveillance footage that may have captured a person matching this description.
