(East Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Police in East Hartford are on the lookout for two suspects after they say one fired a weapon at an officer this morning.
Officers were checking out reports of two individuals attempting to break into vehicles on orchard street a little after 1:00 p.m.
They say the two suspects ran from them when they were ordered to stop, with one suspect turning in the direction of police and firing off a round.
No officers were struck and they did not return fire.
Investigators do say there was evidence that several vehicles were broken into.
Police say the suspects are two black males with thin builds dressed in dark clothing and one wearing a red hat.
