(WWJ) Farmington Hills Police are investigating a shooting at a gas station over the weekend.
Several witnesses called 911 to report shots fired just at around 11:40 p.m. Saturday, at the Shell station on Northwestern Highway at Middlebelt Road.
According to investigators, surveillance video shows a "large group" standing in the parking lot when a car pulled up and stopped at the station's entrance.
That's when someone in the vehicle fired five shots into the group, police said. The vehicle then fled the scene, heading eastbound on Northwestern.
Everyone involved in the incident was gone by the time officers arrived police said, and there were no reports or evidence of any injuries.
Police said they believe the shooting is part of an ongoing feud and that there is no threat to the general public.
On Monday, detectives were still actively investigating the incident, police said, and uniformed officers will be conducting increased patrols in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmington Hills Police Department at 248-871-2610.
