(WWJ) She drove a Camaro to the scene of the crime, and didn't bother with a shirt or shoes.
The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify and locale a scantily clad "porch pirate" caught on video on the city's west side.
According to investigators, the suspect pulled up in a silver Camaro convertible to a home in the 18000 block of Oak Dr., at around 12:50 p.m. on Friday, August 16.
As seen in home security footage released by police, the woman ran up the driveway of the private residence, and grabbed a package off the front porch.

She then dashed back to the car and drove away.
Police described the suspect as a Black female with a heavy build and long, black hair. She was last seen wearing a sports bra/halter top and tan shorts. She had a multicolored fanny pack around her waist and was barefoot.
Investigators believe she is the same suspect sought in another porch piracy back on June 22, in the 3200 block of Cambridge in Detroit.
She's wanted on larceny charges in both cases.
As of December, 2019, a new law targeting "porch pirates" creates state penalties for stealing mail or packages in Michigan, allowing for more options for state prosecution. Under Public Act 48, a first offense is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $500 fine. A repeat offense is a felony, punishable by to five years in prison a $1,000 fine.
Anyone who can ID this suspect is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s 12th Precinct at 313-596-1240, or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-SPEAK UP (1-800-773-2587).
