Postal Service in Metro Detroit hiring for holiday jobs that pay nearly $20 an hour [JOB ALERT]

(WWJ) Looking for a job or know someone who is?

The U.S. Post Office in Detroit has put out the help wanted sign for the holiday season. USPS jobs pay anywhere from $16.55-per hour to $19.64. 

Available jobs include carrier assistant, mail processing clerk, handler assistant and tractor-trailer and motor vehicle operator. 

Depending on the job, a drivers license may be needed and job-seekers may need to take an exam.

Current holiday positions available include the following:

-        Holiday City Carrier Assistant at $17.29 per hour

-        Holiday Clerk Assistants at $18.25 per hour

-        Mail Handler Assistant at $16.55 per hour

-        PSE Mail Processing Clerk at $18.15 per hour

-        Holiday Transportation, Motor Vehicle Operator at $19.24 per hour

-        Holiday Transportation, Tractor Trailer Operator at $19.64 per hour
