(WWJ) An alleged drug dealer operating in metro Detroit is expected to face charges following a series of raids.
Michigan State Police say, after an extensive investigation, the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (M.N.E.T.) on Thursday executed three search warrants on a suspected cocaine and heroin dealer in the cities of Southfield and Detroit.
Troopers seized over 150 grams of cocaine, 95 grams of heroin with fentanyl, five firearms and two vehicles, officials said — sharing a photo of some of those items.
The suspect is a 40-year-old Detroit man, according to police, although his name has not yet been released.
MSP said the investigation will be turned over to the prosecutor for review. It's not clear if the suspect is currently in custody.
MNET was assisted during the investigation and execution of the search warrants by the MSP Emergency Support Team and the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET). MNET and COMET are MSP led multi-jurisdictional task forces comprised of local, state, and federal officers.
