Have you seen Makayla? Detroit police looking for missing 12-year-old who left home, never came back

DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a young Detroit girl who left home Saturday night and never came back.

Makayla Robinson was last seen around 11 p.m. Saturday at her family’s home in the 14900 block of Seymour Street, near Hayes Street and 7 Mile Road on the city’s east side.

Detroit police officials say the 12-year-old left without permission and failed to come home.

Robinson was last seen wearing a blue and gray North Face jacket, blue jeans, and pink Ugg boots.

She is described as about 5-foot-2, 120 lbs., with black hair in a bun and brown eyes.

Authorities are asking anyone who has seen the 12-year-old to call the Detroit Police Department’s 9th Precinct at 313-596-5901.
