13-year-old Detroit boy missing for five days

DETROIT (WWJ) A Detroit family is hoping tips from the public will help their 13-year-old son find his way home safely.

Police say Mikael Henton was last seen Tuesday around 3 p.m. on Murray Hill (19900 block) in the area of Southfield and 7 Mile. While no further details on his disappearance were released, his family says he never went missing in the past.

He is about 5’6” and 120 lbs. His family describes his eyes as dark brown, but they change with the sunlight.

He vanished wearing a black T-shirt, light blue jeans, red Jordan gym shoes and carrying a black backpack.
