(WWJ) DEVELOPING — North Avenue is closed to traffic in Macomb Township, Monday afternoon, as authorities investigate a double fatal crash.
Officials with the Macomb Township Fire Department told WWJ Newsradio 950 that two people died in the crash, and a third was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
It's unclear right now what led to the crash, and information about the victims has not yet been released.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said North Ave. will be closed north and south of Hagan Road, and south of Indian Trail for the on-scene investigation.
