TOLEDO (WWJ) -- Northbound I-75 is closed near the Michigan-Ohio border after a police chase turned deadly early Thursday morning.
WTOL 11 reports that police were chasing someone on the freeway, just south of the Michigan border.
Police say when the driver turned around and starting going the wrong way, they crashed into two semi-trucks.
The driver and his passenger in the car were killed.
The semi-truck drivers were not hurt.

Investigators expect northbound I-75 near Alexis Road in Toledo to be closed for several hours as they investigate the crash.
