(WWJ) Warren Police are investigating a murder-suicide at a gas station.

Police told WWJ surveillance video at the Sunoco on Hoover near 9 Mile showed a Hazel Park couple arrive in separate cars around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

“They got into the male’s vehicle and they talked for at least 45 minutes,” Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said.

At 11 p.m., the man pulled out a gun and shot his wife, then himself; according to Dwyer.

“Apparently, they were separated. There was a divorce pending because of a domestic problem in the marriage, which was caused by one of the parties having an affair with another person,” Dwyer told WWJ.

The couple has not been identified. The man was 42 and the woman, 52. Police said they had children.
