(WWJ) A young man is in custody after two men were found shot to death on the lawn of a Pontiac home on Sunday, the 4th of July.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, 21-year old suspect was taken into custody after deputies were dispatched to a home on 500 block of Valencia Drive, off Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard near University, at around 1 p.m.
When deputies got there, the two men were dead in front of the home.
It's not clear how the suspect was apprehended but authorities believe the shootings were a result of an augment between the suspect and the 29 and 30-year-old victims. Officials said both men are Pontiac residents.
The suspect, also identified as a Pontiac resident, is being held in the Oakland County Jail while awaiting charges.
No names have been released as the investigation continues.
