GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ) A two-year-old boy was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the Grand Rapids area, police said.
Multiple news outlets report he was shot around 8:20 p.m. Friday at the Hidden Lakes apartment complex in Kentwood, about 13 miles southeast of Grand Rapids.
First responders arrived at the home and found the toddler with a gunshot wound and started First Aid, according to police. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
No other details have been released at this time about the circumstances leading up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
The child’s name has not been released.
