SHELBY TWP. (WWJ) – Police are investigating a shooting at Stoney Creek Metropark on Wednesday.
A Metroparks spokesperson tells WWJ one shot was fired around 7 p.m. and no one was hit.
Three people were arrested, but officials couldn't say anything else about the investigation. Authorities did not release the ages of those involved.
Many details of the shooting remain unclear, though Shelby Township police officials tell WWJ the investigation is being handled by Metropark Police.
It was not clear what may have led to the incident.
Reports say several people were seen fleeing from police, but authorities did not say whether they were searching for any suspects.
