71-year-old woman with Parkinson's disease, dementia missing in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The public is being asked to keep an eye out for a missing elderly woman in Detroit.

Police said 71-year-old Denise Harkless left her home in the 7100 block of W. Outer Dr. at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, according to police, and she did not return.

Harkless is described as a Black female, 5'1'' tall and weighing around 200 lbs., with a burgundy wig and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green, purple and pink dress with white and pink shoes.

According to her caregiver, she has bipolar, schizophrenia, Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Anyone who has seen this missing woman, or who may know where she is, is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's 8th Precinct at 313-596-5801.
